My English School teamed up with Arrabal-AID, a Malaga-based non-profit dedicated to inclusion, training, social support and creating opportunities especially for people in vulnerable situations, to design an event that combined learning, fun, and social purpose.
The event took place at a chiringuito by the beach, the idea was simple: create a relaxed, natural setting where non-English speakers could practice English in real life. No classroom, no formal structure. Just conversations, games, laughter, and real life practice, plus, raising awareness and funds for Arrabal-AID’s work.
As Social Media Manager / Photographer / Videographer / Editor for MyES, I handled the full production: concept, shooting photos & video, editing and creating content that would capture both the educational value and the emotional energy of the event. I also participated in front of the camera at times, to help break the barrier and connect with people.
Our goals were:
- Encourage people who don’t speak English yet to try it, in a safe and friendly environment
- Show that learning a language doesn’t have to be rigid or formal it can happen through interaction, experience, shared moments
- Give visibility to Arrabal-AID’s social work, combining language learning with social impact.
